I already have an Envato Elements subscription with unlimited downloads, but I’m interested in a WordPress theme that doesn’t appear to be available through Envato Elements.
Is there any way to purchase this theme through Envato Elements rather than buying it individually on ThemeForest, in order to reduce the cost?
Unfortunately, themes listed on ThemeForest are not available through Envato Elements for purchase. Elements offers unlimited downloads for specific items, but those themes on ThemeForest are sold separately. If the theme you’re interested in isn’t available on Elements, you’d need to purchase it individually from ThemeForest.
You could also keep an eye out for sales or discounts on ThemeForest to help reduce the cost!
Don’t forget themes on elements don’t come with support or updates in the same way that those sold from themeforest do so depending how you plan to use it - it may well be more beneficial to purchase the full copy.
When you download items from Elements, authors often receive 0.01% of the value—or sometimes nothing at all—compared to the time, effort, and resources they invest in creating and maintaining these projects. If you’ve ever worked with or hired a developer, you can appreciate the real cost behind these items.
To truly support the creators, I recommend purchasing directly from ThemeForest. Your purchase helps fund ongoing updates, bug fixes, and future improvements. Sadly, many authors are leaving Envato or abandoning their items due to the unsustainable costs they’re forced to cover themselves.
