Authors using cryptocurrency miners in their demos

I have been releasing cryptocurrency based products on codecanyon for a while now.

But recently I have noticed some competing authors have been including javascript miners in their demos with no warning to visitors and without the miner being a feature of the script.

I’m just wondering if this is allowed? (I definitely do not plan on doing this)

That is definitely not allowed. Please let the Envato Help and Support know about it.

I did, but unfortunately they haven’t replied and the author’s demo is still running a miner in the background:

The Help Team may just be contacting the author first before they reply to your ticket. They will certainly reply :smiley:
