Author of Envato Elements

Hello everyone! I want to become an author of Envato Elements. Tell me who you can contact and what I need to do to draw attention to my portfolio? I would be grateful for any hints

Hello @GRAND_PROJECT

Thanks for your interest in Envato Elements! The Elements team is always on the lookout for great authors - please fill out the author application form here.

Audiojungle application closed.

MrsEnabled Thanks for the answer, but there is no section for Audiojungle on this form. Maybe there are some other options?

I’m sorry but there are no other options. If there is no section for AudioJungle it probably means that the application is closed.

Keep an eye open, applications might open in the future.

Also, wondering how I can become an Envato Elements author? Why are some authors invited and others not? What are the criteria for inviting authors? Somehow everything doesn’t seem quite fair…

And when you are in Elements you will complain about too many new authors joining, and diluting all the sales.

Trying to sell music is one of the most competetive things you can do. It is never “fair”. Should everyone be on the Billboard Hot 100? The best Spotify playlists? Get amazing record deals?

This is not how it works. Find other ways, work on your music. Do what you can do right now. If you continue long enough, and your music is good/useful, there will be opportunities.

Every single website open to everyone without restriction goes down the same path. YouTube, Instagram, etc. Every single one. Closing submissions is a great service to the ones already inside. I’m not in Elements with music, but if I was, I wouldn’t want any new authors either.

The supply will always grow much faster than the demand when it comes to music, photography, videos etc., (fun, creative stuff that almost everyone wants to do).

I agree with you! I just wanted to know the algorithm for accepting authors in Elements)

Why are you so eager to sell your music for fractions of cents, devaluate your creative assets, and betray your fellow music authors whose livelihood has been destroyed by Elements?

Don’t worry, staff said they were planning on opening the gate soon, so you’ll probably be able to get in on the massive dilution of those already extremely diluted earnings. Yay! Enjoy your crumbs!

I do not strive for this! It just became interesting how and according to what criteria authors are invited there. And I’m also curious about the profits from this, at least approximately, but I haven’t found specific numbers here on the forum yet. And I fully understand how Elements and the subscription system affect the rest of the authors.

It is worth being on Elements as it is proving to be more profitable than the market as Envato has adjusted the playing field in bias towards Elements. I know for a fact that the earnings are larger on Elements than AudioJungle even though this is now shrinking due to the removal of contributor bonus.
These contributors now complain about the revenue generated across the marketplace as well as music being used for broadcast purposes, something Elements was not supposed to support but it was bound to happen. Think about the thousands of authors left behind who now struggle with market sales.
