If I get a soft-reject on my theme cause of a typo on WP and using the plugin they told us to use (TGMPA) I think I might cry. 15 months to get a soft reject after a 40 day wait for one capitalization and a logistical issue with the plugin that they require you to use?
Seems silly.
You may not be rejected for an unmodified TGMPA - just a warning that you might as I had rejections related to it, basicly anything that fails themecheck. It is pretty annoying to get rejected for a script you have to use. I’d rather roll my own then have to keep modifying an existing script every update.
The soft is about 3 days so it’s not so bad. It’s when you get several it starts to mount up. That may not happen to you. But it’s pretty tough for authors at the moment.
