What are the best practices for submitting HTML templates to ThemeForest?

Hi everyone,
I’m preparing to submit my first HTML template to ThemeForest and want to make sure I follow all the best practices to avoid rejections. I’ve checked the submission requirements, but I’m still unsure about things like:

  • Folder structure and naming conventions
  • Use of external libraries
  • Proper documentation formatting
  • How responsive and mobile-friendly the design needs to be

Could any experienced authors share some advice or a checklist they follow before submitting their HTML templates?

  • It definitely needs to be mobile responsive optimised

  • Try to avoid using free shared hosting for your demo - it impacts the performance which is not good for potential buyers/sales

  • Don’t upload something half finished full of inactive links

  • Don’t include stock photos (replace with placeholders)

It’s advisable to share the demo here for feedback first to reduce the potential for hard rejection
