VideoHive Animation and Vector Files

#1

Hello!
I’d like to ask VideoHive authors: where do you take vector files for your animated works? Do you have to make them yourselves? What if I can’t make goods vector files (characters/objects), but I can only animate them?

#2

If you can’t, just don’t use it.

#3

But I want to use it, I like to animate objects
I just don’t want to get two professions at once: to be a motion designer and to be a graphic designer…

They often go hand in hand, but you can always just use shape layers in After Effects, which will operate like vectors.

Thank you for your tip! Actually, I’ve already started making objects and characters in AE with shape layers, as it’s more convenient for me than Corel Draw, I’ve got used to AE. But, anyway, I think I’m poor at this, I think I’m not good at drawing even on paper.

I’m rubbish at drawing. I drew a valentines card for a lady the other week, but it looked like a child had made it.
