Tumblr Theme Help Needed

I recently purchased the Margaret Studio theme from themecloset on Tumblr. The main reason I wanted the theme was because it easily allowed me to add a logo.

However, once I added my own logo it has cut off the first image on my blog with a white strip that must be the ‘background’ of my logo ( even though it’s a transparent png). I would love to be able to fix this so my logo background is transparent and shows off the top image on my blog.

I also don’t know why but my social media links aren’t showing up no matter what I do?

If someone could help or give me some html tips to try and sort this out that would be great thank you
