Total Donations plugin

Hi everyone,

I am seeking advise on installing Total donations plugin under Wordpress 4.6.1 version.
According to the plugin data sheet it is good up to version 4.5.

Would this update difference make the plugin disfunctioning or would it work fine?

I would appreciate any information.
