A theme was bought and is registered and licensed in a domain. However, in order to do further customizations a development version of the website was created. This development version of the website has the theme, but it can’t be updated and well configured because the token only allows one installation. Is there a way to get a testing version of the theme for a development environment?
You can use it as it now and when you’re ready, you can un-register the theme and move it to the new server. In some cases, you may need to contact the theme author to “transfer” the license.
