Quick help on this soft reject, fellow authors

Hi Friends,

We’ve submitted our port of our already approved template HURO to Vue JS 3 . We got a soft reject that I’ve never seen before. Has someone ever experienced the same? What does the reviewer mean? It probably is a URL problem but he doesn’t say how he got there, Iam testing the template and Iam unable to reproduce it. If I enter a not valid URL, I have the 404 page popping out. Isn’t that the expected behaviour?

Here is the reviewer’s feedback:

You’re nearly there!

Hi Driss Chelouati,

Thanks for your submission.

‘Vuero - VueJS 3 Admin and Webapp UI Kit’ isn’t quite ready for ThemeForest. But don’t fret, we’d love to see you resubmit after making the changes outlined by the reviewer below. When you’re ready, you can upload your changes here.

Here is the comment from your Envato Quality team reviewer:

Parts of your demo still appear unfinished/incomplete. There is expected functionality (such as internal pages, links or lightboxes, etc.) which your demo lacks. Buyers will expect this template to provide all features that may be implied. Please double check your item thoroughly prior to resubmitting.

We look forward to reviewing your submission once you’ve made the changes!

Thanks

Starting to think they want to see a proper redirect,

https://vuero.cssninja.io/some/fake/url ===> https://vuero.cssninja.io/404

Can someone confirm?

Great looking admin template!

I take it the original URL is a random one so that the 404 page kicks in? If so, you’re probably right about the URL. Try something like:

https://vuero.cssninja.io/404-example

Just to keep things simple.
Good luck

Thanks! In the end it wasn’t the url, but a broken lightbox link, followed the path of the image until I can reproduce the bug.

Was a tricky one. :slightly_smiling_face:
