Noob in need of help finding a suitable theme

Hey,

I am looking for a wordpress theme for a site i am currently moving from a drag and drop site to a worpress site as there is nothing more annoying as a developer as drag and drop with no access to any code and i was wondering if anyone could help me find the right theme as i am very new to wordpress.

The site i am moving is for a historic f1 racing team, the site will display past event results, the calendar for the upcoming year, images form race weekends, news, info on the team and the cars. just the usual stuff for a sports team.

I am not looking for a one that centers around blogs as there will not be any blogging on the site as the owner doesn’t want these features. So

If you are developer and you know PHP you can choose and default template from Wordpress.
It is very hard to give you a link and you didnt put link from your old site?
