You should upload the template as HTML and get approval first. Then maybe look for some partnership, my opinion

Has the HTML template been approved on ThemeForest?

It doesn’t have any styling, just specific structure. Sorry but I think it won’t pass the review. You might want to work on it a bit more. I guess you want to position it as “Minimal typography theme” but then again, it won’t pass under that category - way too simple and plain. Further, as other authors mentioned it should be at least accepted as HTML to consider options for WP conversion.
