Imported Demo - Search does not work

I have imported a theme(https://demo09.houzez.co/) and I had a few questions. I’d like to also mention I am trying to solve these issues myself through the documentation and using chatgpt, but I still can’t figure it out.

  1. When I search on my homepage, it just reloads the homepage. In the demo, it actually goes to the search results. Where can I see the config for this and fix it? What can I do?

I think I need to create a results page, but this isn’t clear to me on if I need to, or how this is done. Also not sure why the import demo wouldn’t include it.

  1. How can I move the search on my homepage to overlap the slider that I created?

  2. How should I have solved these issues without contacting support?
