How to have a job listing/directory site with Event listings aswell

I have found some really cool wordpress templates for a job listing site i want to build. The problem is, that I also want to add event listings aswell. But all of the templates seem to only be for one type of directory.

Does anybody know how i can achieve such a thing without having to use additional software which would not match my theme.
