How can I view text in a particular font before selecting it for download?

I’m not even sure if I’m in the right area of the forum for this question… I’m a little old lady who hasn’t gone font shopping in more than 15 years. Is it possible (it used to be) to type your text into a field that shows what the text would look like using that font before you download/purchase it?

Yes, that’s possible! If you head over to https://graphicriver.net/fonts, find one you like and click on it, you’ll see details about that font. If you scroll down, you’ll see a “Test drive this font” section where you can type in the text box and see a rendered version of the font.
