Maybe because of the weekend. That’s all

4 posts were split to a new topic: Can’t access Elements website

This is visible in the web browser as well and is visible in the mobile browser, And I checked in another web browser also it is showing the same thing.

The dashboard issue you mentioned originally is being investigated. (My response above about not having a problem was to the other person who said they couldn’t access the whole site. Just to clarify!)

2nd month in a row this happens when weekend and new month happen together.

Hi all. This one’s a different issue to last month, but it’s related to other start-of-month Elements Earnings delays that many will be familiar with - the backlog of earnings calculations are now being processed, and each of the missing days will update in your report when that data is available.

Ben, newbie question: Is it normal, then, that during the earning calculations we might experience a few days of delay in the Earning Overview? Thanks!

Elements earnings report is now updated again

Hi @WormwoodMusic!

We’ve been trying to reduce the likelihood and impact of these delays, but there are still a few reasons why they can happen. Our payments team is currently automating as much of the process as possible, but there are some stages during the month when our Finance team will need to give approval before we can run the calculations that take subscriber share usage data and turn it into dollars of earnings.

Generally, once all the internal checks are passed, any backlog of earnings data will be calculated over the next day or so. These delays used to be much more common at the start of each month - they should be getting less common now, as the process has been streamlined over the last six months.

I think it’s also important to note that any delays in showing Daily Earnings data on the dashboard will almost never impact a payout: all Elements payouts should still be processed on the 16th of each month, or the following business day if that falls on a weekend.

Thanks, Ben! Clear as daylight. Great to know it for eventual similar delays in the future.
