Since few weeks, the Envato protected api generates a warning message on the wp-admin:
Warning : Illegal string offset ‘api_error’ in /homepages/29/d747684066/htdocs/clickandbuilds/HTCMC10/wp-content/themes/eventerra/om-framework/libraries/envato-theme-updater/class-envato-protected-api.php on line 307
It apperas on all the WP web site with envato template.
How to solve this problem or update the api?

As far I see from your error message I think it is theme file issues if I am not wrong.
The best way to get this solution is Contact your purchased Theme Author.

This error comes from a very old version of the Envato Wordpress Toolkit, which has been replaced by the Envato Market Wordpress Plugin. Looking at that plugin’s code, it looks like that message can be emitted from any number of places when there’s an error communicating with the legacy Envato API. As @mgscoder suggested, you should contact the theme’s author for support.
