Hello - I am running the Enfold theme and would like to change the sorting of my woocommerce products. Specifically I would like to default sort by newest to oldest and only have the option for visitors to sort by price (high to low or low to high) Is there a way to do this? Thank you!
Hello, we have encountered this problem in the digital marketing team of the company. solution:
Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display.
Select “Date (Newest to Oldest)” as the default product sorting option.
Save your changes.
Install and activate the “WooCommerce Customizer” plugin.
Go to Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Catalog.
Uncheck “Default Sorting” and check “Sort by Price: High to Low” and “Sort by Price: Low to High”.
Save your changes.
This will sort your products by date (newest to oldest) by default and only allow visitors to sort by price (high to low or low to high).
