in uploading a new file, and new information field was added recently, i’m not sure i totally get what is for
"Text Description (optional) "
Can anyone advice ?

"Text Description (optional) " is only for Elements. If you have no access to it just leave this field blank.
so if you’re uploading template to Element too, one should also fill this field !?

It could be that the text version is used sometime in the future on videohive as well, maybe on mobile. When uploading new projects I’d say it is good practice to also include the Text Description, but it is not worth the hassle to go and edit old items in the portfolio yet (unless you are an elements author).
