Change the Collapse Point for the Navbar

I’m using the ThemeForest Definity theme. The default collapse point for the navbar is set to 1260 ($screen-lg) and I’d like to reduce this so the full navbar displays at smaller sizes. Has anyone been able to do this, and if so, how?

To change the breakpoint is more complicated than just a single CSS rule so contact me via email using this link and I will try to provide more detail instructions.
