Can't get the sidebar widget to display anything with Advanced Categories plugin

I’m trying to set up Woocommerce Advanced Categories but the sidebar widget won’t display anything. I have about 10 categories created and sidebar is activated in the settings. I’ve put the widget into the sidebar, but nothing. Doesn’t throw an error in the console.

Is there something I can try to get this to work? Any suggestions?
