Hey All!

I am pretty floored (as in positively overwhelmed) by the response so far to this. Thank you for your willingness to get involved.

A few thoughts about what this will look like:

  1. Mechanically, this is an email list we’ll use to invite you to research opportunities.
  2. Research will most likely take the form of surveys (as the data is easy to report on)
  3. We may post the results (but we may keep some results private too)
  4. You can opt-out by unsubscribing from the emails
  5. The frequency will likely be frequent for the first few months (maybe one every few weeks) and then more measured over time (limited to one a month on our end or focused on a particular group of authors)
  6. Surveys will often be short but there may be some bigger ones (we’ll try to accurately estimate times for you)
  7. You are not obligated to participate in any survey, if you don’t have time, just ignore the email.
  8. Badges will be assigned after you’ve filled in a survey :wink:

Thank you for your enthusiastic response so far, the larger this list is, the more accurate our data will be. I am really pumped to see so many authors willing to get involved.
