From long time we use ?ref=username in last of the link to promote a specific theme or collection, today i have visit affiliate program page to generate automatic affiliate url and this page generate “&” instead of “?” so is there any changes by envato coz i have save/promote too many links on pinterest, twitter etc and if they changed i lost too many referral 
It doesn’t matter. Both are valid.
You use “?” for the first item in the query string and “&” for consecutive items.
For example:
…codecanyon.net/popular_item/?ref=pqina
…codecanyon.net/popular_item/?category=javascript&ref=pqina
