Yet another hard rejection... Any advice please?

There are times I cannot really find reasons for a hard rejection. Would you please listen to my track and give me some feedback?

i think you need to add instruments or just mre kb layers, it sounds a bit flat

The strings sound too unnatural and lifeless.

Hi there,

I’m guessing they think it’s old-fashioned sounding. Not my personal opinion, but my guess. As far as I can tell so far, the tricks to millenializing a piece of music are to:

1 - Remove syncopation
2 - Arpeggiate roots, thirds and fifths
3 - Four chords at a time
4 - Bass pretty much lives on the tonic
5 - Eliminate passing notes wherever possible
