Writing music when it's hot

Hey there guys,

we have 35+ degrees here in Germany and I’m melting. Do you have any secret tipps for writing music during a heatwave? I’d really appreciate it ! :snowman_with_snow:

I like to wrap my keyboard in plastic carrier bags commonly found in a nearby supermarket, I then check to make sure there are no holes and then go to my nearest swimming pool where I can create in a friendly environment whilst cooling off during these hot summer spells.

35?!!
I´ll be in Berlin in three weeks!

I currently have a big fan to my side, a small desktop fan pointed at my mouse hand, and a big ice cube in my coffee. Still can’t concentrate…

Edit: “mouse hand” being my hand that is using the mouse. I don’t have a small, mouse’s hand on my desk like some kind of good luck charm for sales)

My lady friends always said I had bodily features of a mouse - I am not the only one.

Keep in mind: With every heatwave here in Germany comes a Thunderstorm with an epic magnitude. Ussualy three weeks after the wave and only when you’re in town of course.

Going for a coffee, but I can’t find any ice cube big enough to cool me down. Mouse Hands? :joy:

I have to chuckle at this. I live in Arizona and right now we’re in the 49+ deg (120 Deg Fahrenheit)! However we are used to this in the summer. I stay inside my air-conditioned home running a ceiling fan over my work station. If I go outside and subsequently get too hot, I then jump in my pool to cool down. Then I dry off, get back inside my air-conditioned house, and resume work at my work station under the ceiling fan. :sunglasses:
I hope you too can find a way to stay cool and keep making great tracks!

Super hot (for the UK) here and most of us have no air-con - no one is sleeping and everyone is grumpy - mind you it gives us something extra to moan about :grin:and as you know we do love to discuss the weather, mainly because many of us are intrinsically shy and it’s an ice breaker!!!

I am from Russia, and here is another problem - my fur coat can not cope with the cold. My domesticated bear can not move away from my nuclear reactor and is constantly growling! It is necessary to drink a lot of vodka and eat sandwiches with red caviar to at least somehow warm up.

I hope everyone understood my irony :grinning:
Do not be discouraged, guys, we really have a great job! Good sales for all :rocket:

Here in Australia we can get very similar heat in the summer. Air-conditioners and fans are a must have.
