To run yes, smoothly, no. Depending on the project and your patience it will run ok, but in heavy projects will have some problems. The CPU is underpowered, not enough RAM and the HDD is slow. Search something with i7 xxxxHQ CPU and 16+ GB of RAM. The i7 xxxxU CPUs are dual core low voltage designed for low power consumption not performance.
