Is there a way I could add a suggesting to Envato? I feel that product updates or recent 5 star ratings on the home page may help existing products sell better.
What do you think?
I don’t think this is going to happen.
There’s a big chance that authors would abuse a function like this by implementing small / insignificant updates each week just to push their items on the front page.
Also what about themes / plugins / templates that are very well built and don’t require any update for months / years. They would be in disadvantage.

Thats a good point! however, the ratings could maybe work? Cannot be abused by sellers and gives existing users a chance to appear on the front page
