Wordpress themes not compatible with latest version

I am wanting to purchase a theme (helix from madras) but all the themes are 6.5.x or earlier. I am struggling to find a theme which will be compatible with thte latest version of wordpress

Hi @richardbridgstock,

Envato has not included WordPress latest version 6.6.x in the compatible option till today. But the themes compatible with 6.5.x should compatible with 6.6.x.

Better to get confirmation from the theme author, ask it in the theme comments as @charlie4282 suggested.

You’ll need to either find a theme specifically updated for compatibility with the latest WordPress version or check if the existing theme can be manually updated or is compatible with WordPress 6.5.x. If not, it’s better to choose a theme actively supported by the developer to avoid future issues.

Check if the Helix theme from Madras is regularly updated. If not, it may not be fully compatible with the latest WordPress version. You might want to contact the developer or look for a theme that clearly supports the latest WordPress release.
