Can anyone tell me the reason for rejection of WordPress theme. I am sharing the link and feedback. They initially rejected HTML version. Later on they have approved the HTML version after realizing their mistake and the item got many sales. Now they have rejected WP version without any proper reason and that is what they did earlier.
Unfortunately ‘WordPress’ has higher standards in terms of aesthetics. An approved design in other categories does not guarantee an approval under ThemeForest’s WordPress category.
As higher quality items become available in the marketplace, approval requirements will increase to maintain appropriate marketplace quality.
The same design got so many sales and customers while giving their review have given positive feedback regarding design as well on the HTML template.
The same customers from Envato keeps sending me messages for the WordPress version and the HTML template is still getting sales. I have developed WP version just for those customers.
One or few people personal opinion becomes the representation of all people on Envato which are buying themes. Is this correct?
If you are talking about the design quality. You should also respect people feedback as well what they think about a certain item. The quality standards always have been meet. If it is linked with the demand of certain item in the marketplace then many people in large number have been contacting me via Envato to develop a WordPress version for this theme and it has got very good sales and still getting sales. You should consider that factor as well. An fancy design does not guarantee sales in large number of any item. If the design has enough power to attract the people and if people are liking it and all quality standards are met and is easy to use with maximum flexibility and good functionality provided to the end user then that should be given a chance. If there is no chance of getting it approved then we will go out of Envato to sell this item as we disagree with the approach adopted by the reviewers which does not seems to be fair.
