Wordpress Theme Errors | Can't upload Theme Files

Hello,

I am facing problems while uploading themes that I download through Envato Elements.
Once I download the Wordpress Theme through envato elements, I go like this:

  1. Extract .zip file & upload the Theme File on Wordpress
  2. Activate
  3. Download all necessary plugins
  4. Should be working with all demo files in it

But the theme is not showing, I cannot edit it like it is showing the demo content on preview. How to fix this issue? I tried to upload child.zip of the theme but it didn’t work out for me too.

Moreover, is there any chance to contact somehow theme developer or envato elements support for quick help…?

Author support is not available for items downloaded on Envato Elements.

If you need support from the item’s author, You can take a look at the item on Envato Market. If support is offered, you will receive 6 months of support when you purchase the item there.

Regrading demo import please check theme documentation and I believe there should be a guideline how to import demo. in your download zip there should exist a demo content folder to import demo manually.

Thank you for your reply, but I could not locate the demo content that needs to be imported. Is there any chance to get guided through this? Theme is installed, all good there but not the demo content tho :frowning:

You can try to contact the theme author through themeforest author profile page. There you will get a contact form to get in touch with the theme author. Thanks
