Wordpress Plugin - "On This Day"

Hello,

I’ve had a look, but can’t find a plugin… which displays an event for a certain date of the year.

This would be great for displaying on a homepage…

For example “On This Day: July 1st 1963: The Beatles Signed to EMI Records”

Any ideas?
