It’s a cool looking logo. Possible reasons - it’s got some slightly too small details for a logo (needs to look good at small size) or the concept is considered not clear enough what buyers can use it for?
I assume it’s intended to look both like an octopus and a gas mask. 
Maybe you can commit more to what it’s use is? Like it could be a design studio for example?

Yes I also saw it as a something that I know but don’t know to say it in English, and while reading your comment I found the word Gas Mask, That’s it, it looks like a gas mask than an octopus, HSM team may name it “Gasoline Masks” or related thing. and the tiny lines on the head may not work well I think in smaller size
