Why can’t we have an advanced text editor like the one we have here on the forums?

Editing or preparing item descriptions for products is such a pain.

It is such a pain especially when you are not a designer and you cannot produce good quality images.

That doesnt add anything, it is the same which we have currently.

We need a rich text editor like Discourse.

no that does not help. We are talking about the restrictions (limited mark up).

@crelegant agreed with your point. But if not a fully functional advanced editor, then at least we can have a preview area for the item description like http://revaxarts-themes.com/envatitor/ is having.

Editor like discourse is needed. Saves a lot of time.
