WHY "isn't at the quality standard required to move forward"?

Hello people!
Please tell me what’s wrong here? Do the low frequencies stick out? Too many sub frequencies? Too much reverb?

I would be happy for your comments and advices.

Inspiring Cinematic Trailer

Hey lalalune,
the track’s idea is so uplifting I admit.
On the other hand I think it’s a bit too bright overall and clipping at some sections.
Many elements are conflicting against each other (strings, piano). I agree with you the reverb on the piano might be a little bit too much. The riser and the cymbal at 0:29 sound too harsh.
The drums are also too much in your face, I think you need to play also with the velocity to give it the human feel, you are trying to emulate an orchestra

One more thing but that’s speaking from a personal preference, I would use pauses to give space for the video editor to have more flexibility. like the first part at 0:30 and at 1:27.

You are not far from having a licensable track. Keep up the good work and don’t give up!

By the way, I do not have a lot of knowledge, I am speaking based on my own experience.

All the best!

I’ve been here three years. And for these three years, I hear that my work has become better. But. For some reason, there were a LOT of rejects! Why is it so…

Hello, RedLeafMusic!

Thank you very much for the comment, advice and good constructive criticism. Your opinion helped me a lot. I made useful conclusions for myself.

I think you’re right. I agree with you that some elements contradict each other. I will try to do it easier and more balanced.

Drums are my weakness. I will try to develop my skills in the subject of percussion.

Especially thanks for the advice about pauses for the video editor, because I did not think about this earlier.

Thanks for the time and attention!
