I think King Composer is good choose for this moment. ( A strong page builder - faster and more feature)

I will use it for next theme.

King Composer looks promising. Just tested it. Are there any more theme authors that use it already?

Hey, do you have some demos theme which you use that plugin?

I prefer Unyson cause we get everything together.
They have tons of extensions which saved lots of times for a developer

Yes, but right now I can’t share them … those are in the process of review

Ok.
I saw new feature is Section Manager, did you try that for your sample data?
I am not understand how it works. I have not ever seen that before at other page builder.

Section manager is something like a Grid Builder. You can create sections and use them while building pages or posts

Oh I did not know what is Grid builder. But seem this feature is good for customers.

I don’t like the Paste panel of KingComposer, it is hard to use. Mark + for KingComposer is the copy paste the raw code, which I can copy parts of shortcode from local site to live site.

I suggest you try out Elementor - the free and fastest page builder for WordPress
https://elementor.com

+1 for KingComposer for UI and performance. Free if you use only for back-end, with me that’s enough.

Try new qoob page builder http://webark.com/qoob
Also available at https://wordpress.org/plugins/qoob/
It’s free and it’s not like the others. Absolutely new approach to page building.
And there are some themes on themeforest with qoob builder https://themeforest.net/tags/qoob

Not jet available for commercial use, but if you are interested I inclined to give it to one external theme for testing:

In my personal opinion, there is more to consider here than just the initial cost of licensing any page builder.

Yes, speed and overall performance of the page builder is of course important, but just as important is what you can actually do with the built-in set of elements the page builder comes with, how many elements are actually included and how frequent the page builder receives updates.

And just as important is how easy it will be to extend the page builder with custom elements, and/or modify existing elements (not just talking about CSS styling here, but actual element setting options), in order to actually fit the needs of your theme in particular, but also the end user. Because what good is the fastest page builder out there, if it can’t provide me with the elements I actually need for my particular website and I have to resort to embed normal shortcodes from other plugins again, which is what the page builder was supposed to free me of?

That’s why, with all its undeniable flaws, Visual Composer is still the unofficial king of page builders, simply because of the vast number of available addons that by now really cover any possible area where an element could be needed for. No other page builder comes even close to that.

And using a page builder that is truly widespread will always make it easier for end users to switch to another theme down the road, without having to totally recreate the site content, as the elements will simply carry over.

And personally, I rather “sacrifice” a little speed during editing, if I can use a page builder that is actually able to provide the elements and features I need. And frontend speed and performance can always be improved by any decent caching plugin.

Great experience marcdepielle.

So for this time which page builder are you using? can you share with us?

unyson is very limited… Just try to add a class or custom field to a section and you will see what I mean.

I decided to create my own builder with nested rows …

Unyson is good, but for small and simple projects …
