Hello! Where can I read the text of the “general commercial quality standard”? This general standard should be widely known.
https://help.author.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000471803 is about as close as I’ve found to a guideline. The standard, “All files must be 44.1 kHz 16-Bit stereo. Your file can be in WAV format and/or MP3 format. MP3 files must have a constant bit rate (CBR) of 320 kbps.” yadda yadda.
I’ve never found information on a “general standard”. Feels more like it’s a catch all phrase that used for an easy reject without having to get specific (IE: “audio artifact here”, “clipping here”, “distortion there”, “cuts to aggressively here”, “item too quiet”, “market too saturated with crap identical to this”), makes it a little more like offering an item to the Envato Gods and waiting to hear back on their benevolence.
