Hi, I was fairly confident with this track but it got a hard reject
any ideas?

I’m not AJ author, but personally I didn’t like this main sample sound that creates melody. Maybe it’s just my earphones, but it’s a little bit irritating. I like the melody though

I agree, the main problem is the plucky sound, which is kind of annoying and not really pleasant. I like what happens in the background though. Try to shoot for something more ambient and less in-your-face as a melody sound and you should be good to go.
Your instruments can glue better. I would try to exchange instruments like pluck, kick, shaker.
