Hey all, was thinking about stuff latley.
Whats the take on selling the account.
so power elite account with more then 30k sold themes, 7k registered users on support.
Monthly income is not glorious, but with a little love it could be again.
Any one has any experience with it?
Not allowed, unfortunately. Been there 
I dont get the not allowed, you sell it, give someone else the account change your company details and thats it. whats not alowed?
Selling your account is not allowed. It’s in the terms and conditions.
Why selling an Envato account is prohibited:
Envato’s terms of service explicitly state that accounts are not transferable and cannot be sold.
Selling an Envato account can have tax implications for both the seller and the buyer, which Envato wants to avoid.
Transferring an account can compromise the security of both the seller’s and the buyer’s information.
Attempting to sell an account can lead to legal issues with Envato.
There has been few cases before that Envato allowed “user change” but you need to inform Envato before and ask if they are OK - then the new author needs to go through “verification” again to change the details but I don’t think anyone would be willing to “buy” the account now.

I don’t think is a good idea to sell your account now, if you get 10k for it, you should consider yourself lucky…

Well, thats a irational comment. A power elite level account which has more then 30k sales is enough to have a higher price, calculate how much would you save in commisions.
If it was 2-3 years ago, maybe.. But the reason why you’re ( attempting to ) selling now is, because you’re not making enough/good money.
