What's you internet speed in Download/Upload?

@Xylote Check also Eolo. It’s a bit annoying they have traffic limitations (for the maximum speed, then you continue on around ADSL speed), but it’s an alternative to @%!#Q$ Telecom wires.

Romania with the cheapest 7.5$ contract. Speed recorded on mobile phone.

@DoubleLion Thank you! It seems interesting.

@LaurentiuDorin, @thezoc, @Voxyde - I will prepare a mega package to upload on May 2016 since I must go to Romania, so if you’ll have a slow internet connection in that period don’t worry it’s just me uploading… you’ll just need to wait a little more :hourglass_flowing_sand: like most common people on the web

@Xylote An article about romanian web developers, designers http://blog.creative-tim.com/web-design/never-work-romanian-web-developers-designers/ .

P.S. and Norton antivirus “love us” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=un_XI4MM6QI

I just saw this article on facebook :sunglasses: and first graphic it is about download speed .

27/12 Mbps, and it costs $75 a month WHOOOO GOD BLESS AMERICA AND MONOPOLIES!

@adammonroe that’s a good speed but a little overpriced.
@thezoc It seems that after posting the numbers from Romania no one wants to share their internet speed  I created this post to understand if the internet speed worldwide, so please fell free to share :grinning:

I thought mine was good at 70/20 on wired and 25/7 on wireless, but seems I need to move to Romania…

We pay around $40 a month (once converted)

@Xylote I did not want people to be ashamed of their speed. :joy: In my opinion if the Romanian state would have created laws to benefit IT companies. Romania would have provided the best hosting services and best data centers in the world. And all this at some very low prices for all people worldwide. But bureaucracy from Romania prevents big players to develop serious business here. In my opinion the legislation is very unstable but it is a very safe country.

@Gareth_Gillman with $40 in Romania you can put a small dedicated internet business plan :grinning: . I do not want to tell you speeds for this after not posting anybody here and @Xylote will migrate here. Your speed in Romania cost 29RON = $7.21 .

UPDATE: Also public free Wi-Fi in restaurants and coffee shops is very very good . Starbucks internet is like an office hub internet, but is free or just for a coffee.

Southern Spain, up in hills…

Ping: 8ms

Takes a while to upload my video stuff!

Hyderabad here we come!

@SpaceStockFootage that’s a good speed, I would like to have that speed here in Italy, since I cannot dream further

@Muse_Master Awesome, even here in Italy in about 70-80 years we’ll have the same speed (we hope).
@thezoc I must think that even the hosting services are fast or not? Now I seriously think to move my website from the server in Germany to Romania.

519.93 Mbps  Oh my God. In which city is this? I definitely have to move in there. Is that the internet subscription from RDS named Digi Net Fiberlink 1000? I’m also having it, but I never get these amazing results…

In NJ I had 75/75. I really miss that 75 up. Here in Seattle:

From my experience here is just one very good company : http://ro.easyhost.com/gazduire-website . ( best support, best speed). It is also used by multinational companies ( http://ro.easyhost.com/despre-noi/clienti ) .
The other companies in the Romania market are weaker as Arvixe, Godaddy, DreamHost, WpEngine, AWS … and others . (I do not mean just speed, but also technical support…etc.)

@greenline in Bucharest (The capital of Romania) ! No, is UPC . RDS is good. But you must invest in a router over $100 . Their routers are very bad. But in Timisoara (Romanian city) it is much better.
