My home studio I want to buy monitor, what would you say good studio monitor to 150$

seems to me not to buy Yamaha hs8, is good Yamaha hs5?

If you can get a pair of the HS5 for that money, go for it.
In a small room you don’t need anything bigger.

It’s better to purchase yamaha hs7 or yamaha hs8, great budget monitors.
You can’t control bass at Yamaha HS5, because they had very small dynamic.
