What is this?

Yeah, interesting. But I don’t believe that PB is a publisher for 0%. There has to be some deal, e.g. publisher fee instead of share etc.

that they upload their 70,000 titles at once and stop polluting the new titles page

I no longer dare to post a title for fear that it will end up on page 100 of the new titles of the day.

If you like browsing new tracks, today there are 60 pages but it’s all premium beats, don’t search for your tracks, you’ll be wasting your time.

Need to sit and see this storm coming to an end, when all files will be uploaded. What a …

A terrible sight.
It would be very convenient when the authors are told when this gigantic upload ends and they can continue working normally. :face_exhaling:

At least the prices are high!

There are already 26 sales in a week, even for such a high price.

+30k and counting. Future possible scenarios:

  • PremiumBeat shuts down and Envato centralizes both databases.
  • We Envato authors see our earnings drop so low that is almost an invitation to leave, considering that PremiumBeat does not have to split an author’s share.
  • After the massive incorporating of PB’s catalog the subscription price is slightly rised. ()
  • We are already in “take the money and run” or “save the furniture” mode and this whole place is nuked in less than two years.
  • We are kindly invited to change our CID admins to a specific one they “propose” (ShutterStockMusic, Orfium).
  • It all goes on just like it is. SS boosts their earnings, our earnings scratch the bottom, we get a few motivational statements from time to time and a flashy achievement flashback every end of the year.

Who knows… Place your bets.

@BenLeong it would be nice if you would jump in on this thread and clear some things out, since this is infuriating and totally unfair for composers to compete with this massive influx of tracks

As you previously said to trust Envato and be patient, this doesn’t look like trust…

Top new author premium beat. This is called mockery of people. Elements are closed, there is no promotion on the site, price dumping and now this influx of a huge number of tracks. Goodbye!

Yes, this situation really exists. But it can be seen as a sign: the PremiumBeat account, by uploading a huge number of tracks at a fixed price, is essentially setting the trend for a higher price point.

If creators raise their prices to at least $30 instead of the laughable $5, it will already increase profits while maintaining the same number of sales.

But will everyone do that? Of course not, for various reasons.
In the end, creators win tactically but lose strategically. I’m no exception, as I’m also part of this system.

Thinking out loud.

The AudioJungle marketplace is increasingly looking like a testing ground for experiments.

If we look at the data, out of 31,642 titles uploaded, only 54 sales, or 0.17%.
