I just bought a theme for a CMS.
The files have been installed and all worked until I updated the theme with the security updated for the CMS. Now it do not work.
This mean I have to put a lot of work into finding the reason for this error and had I known, I would never have bought that theme. As I just bought it I think the fair option should be to cancel the payment and delete the files I have downloaded.
But I do not know how this is done on Envato.
Do anyone know how to make a complain and take up this issue.
Thanks for any help.
Hello!
It’s possible the theme just needs to be updated to the latest version. Your Download area will have the latest version.
What was the theme’s name?
Thanks!
I have the latest files. I bought it yesterday and downloaded it during the night so no newer files.
The problem is that the files are working but when I update the CMS, it breaks. And today you cannot have an outdated CMS for security reason.
I might be able to find the reason for the error but it is uacceptable that I pay for a theme and it is not working… leaving it to me to locate all the errors. The time that will take I could have done must of the programming myself.
I feel there should be an option to get out of the agreement when the product I buy is not updated.
I have written to the support line of Drupalet but it say it can take up to 5 days for a respond - that is also very much unacceptable.
I have the same issue. Something was wrong with the recent update. I am having problems too. Not sure how to fix it. I had to remove the plugin from my website so that my site was operational.
This error popped up:
Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/content/27/7834527/html/wp-content/plugins/essential-grid//public/essential-grid.class.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php5_4/lib/php’) in /home/content/27/7834527/html/wp-content/plugins/essential-grid//public/essential-grid.class.php on line 46
What do I do to fix this?
Fatal error: Can’t use method return value in write context in /home/content/27/7834527/html/wp-content/plugins/essential-grid/public/essential-grid.class.php on line 1812
That is not the same issue at all.
And on top of that it is about WordPress so not even the same error.
Please keep within subject.
There was a problem with Envato DNS. You should try to download again. It seems it’s been already fixed.
You should contact the theme author for free support
I received response to update the php to the latest php on my server, in my case, godaddy. I did that, and everything started working properly.
Perhaps give that a try if the plugin update caused the problem. Maybe that will help.
