We're fed up with Ticksy. What are the alternatives?

Hey guys,

Just wanted to let you know that Support Hub is now in private beta! :tada:

You can read more about it here: Support Hub - A Premium helpdesk solution for Envato authors is in private beta!

Give it a try!

Hello everybody. Iā€™m also looking for some alternative to Ticksy. Found an open source system similar to HelpScout https://github.com/freescout-helpdesk/freescout, but it seems to be at the early development stage now. Have anybody found anything good which is free, open source and ready to use?

I tried andā€¦http://prntscr.com/koy3jr

Hi guys,

Itā€™s my pleasure to announce that, after 5 months of private beta testing, Support Hub is now officially live! :tada::tada::tada:

I wanted to thank you all for your support, especially to those who were using it and sending me feedbacks and recommendations! The journey was pretty tough and I was really close to quit and stop working on the app, but your emails encouraged me to work even harder, so thank you VERY MUCH for that!

For those who are not on our mailing list and havenā€™t participated in the private beta, Iā€™ve prepared 30 coupons with a 50% discount on the first subscription. The coupon code is AWESOME-ENVATO and the coupon will expire in 30 days, so make sure that you use it before it expires!

Checked the demo for FAST, works really good. Only thing lacking is Knowleged-Base(KB) feature. So when someone starts typing question it search from KB and shows relevant results, this will reduce the support question asked.

Tried telling this in your comment section, but no reply on when we can have this feature. Giving a clear idea helps buyer.

Thank you.

I tried to create new ticket but it impossible http://prntscr.com/kwkzii

That is because your account is still not ready to receive tickets. You need to add support categories first from your Categories page (or to import them from your Envato items).

I have collection my account to Envato and it loaded all items

I see that you have connected your Envato account and that your items are synchronized, however, you still need to create at least one support category to be able to receive tickets.

Please check the following documentation article on how to create support categories from imported Envato items: https://help.support-hub.io/articles/create-support-categories-from-envato-items

Sorry, @loshMiS I am late - I am new to Envato family I was thinking about Ticksy I created a demo account on both ticksy and support-hub.io
ticksy is has bugs it shuffles tickets - 6 - 10 request are dropped. Unfortunately for them they got bad comments on many Websites.

I love your product it is perfect and even more than perfect - I created a dummy Account at https://ami.support-hub.io/ it very easy, clean, simple, modern.

but as of now, I cannot afford 19$ - can I have some discount? please or
OR ā€” If possible can I have 5 categories for only I have 4 apps and 1 category for BUGS Etc.
in simple words, I need 5 categories in Free plan !!
1 Support Agent
5 Support Category
Unlimited Customers
Unlimited Tickets

Thanks

Hey @amjiddader,

Unfortunately, there are no active discount coupons at the moment and you are a bit late to use the AWESOME-ENVATO coupon from above, which expired a few days ago.

The Free plan is only for 1 support agent and 1 support category, so having 5 categories in a free plan is, unfortunately, not possible.

I would recommend you to follow us on Facebook and Twitter since thatā€™s where we will announce news about the platform itself as well as the discount coupons from time to time.

Kind regards,
Milos

Thank you.

freescout doesnā€™t looks like ticket system but more like email solution and it doesnā€™t have envato integration.

FAST UI is not so great and being wp plugin is deal breaker for me.

any other solutions around?
opensource or self hosted?

hi @Finserve_Infotech
congrats on being accepted.

i will have a look at it and most probably would buy
tbh

  1. i donā€™t like the way articles popping upā€¦wish it has(?) seperate page
  2. price is bit high

eventhough not a deal breaker, i wish you used laravelā€¦as it becomes easy for us to customize it.

Hello,
i have seen single article page but i mean index page to show all articles which ā€œpops-upā€ from bottom now, instead i prefer a dedicated page showing them, programmatically its not a tough job i knowā€¦

i would have purchased it right away (even for testing) if it is around $35 but since price is highā€¦i would wait till some people buy and wait for reviews.

thanks.

Hello @Finserve_Infotech! Your app looks great! Some questions:

  1. Does it has support for nice URLs. (I would like to use https://finserveinfotech.com/auxilium/tickets/ instead of https://finserveinfotech.com/auxilium/tickets.php)
  2. Is there any way to import a list of customers/tickets?
  3. Are you using any PHP framework for your app?
    Thanks! Lucian

hi @zoutula. Thanks for taking interest in Auxilium Help desk.

The answer to your questions.

  1. We do not have a cleaner URL right now. But we are working on that. Sooner we will give an update for cleaner URLs.
  2. No, Right-now we do not have any way to import customers/tickets but we are also working to fetch multiple helpdesks/supportdesks api then you can directly import all your data into our platform.
We are also working on import customers/tickets from excel file.
  3. we are using Easy-Orm for PHP.

hi Ravib @Finserve_Infotech

  1. nice to see you developed an ORM and using itā€¦and it looks nice (for me it looks more like laravelā€™s eloquent so kinda familiar)

  2. probably i will wait till you implement nice URLs and/or import tickets/customers from ticksy (this is not much important though)

overall i can say, you did great work.

Hello,

Our team has released a new item for Support Desk/Ticket system which helps both Envato Authors and for normal users too, based totally on PHP and easy to integrate.

See here : https://codecanyon.net/item/auxilium-support-desk-for-envato-market-authors/23790734

So at a one time cost of $60, you get a complete source without any limits and self hosted on your server.

We use it for our own purpose too : http://support.perfectuswebinsights.com/

like i said in my earlier comments,
i would like to see dedicated articles index page.

and i want to see review from someone who used it, comparing with ticksy.

thanks.
