hi folks
im designing 1170 grid system PSD template i got a question can i design / place text outside the grid ?
should i bring in all the design / text within the grid ?

it it ok or i gotta redesign it to fit in within the grid system

You should use elements text/images only inside of grid.

If you are planing for Full width ? - you can use it for some sections only. like full width portfolio.
