I built a plugin in 2014 that I needed for my consulting company. It was one-of-a-kind. Now there is competition but when I built the plugin, it was the only one. My WP Online Contract plugin gave me the ability to manage my contracts online through my website. My plugin also remains to be the only contract plugin that does not require a monthly subscription and continues to be a trending item every day on Envato.
This was truly the first plugin I ever built and I learned about the structure and code of WordPress when I developed it. Thank you to Envato for having a market place like this. I love the idea that we can build something we need and make it available for everyone else who needs it in one place that is seen by millions of people. The staff at Envato have always been supportive and ready to help with any issues we had with the process.
