Watermarks Demystified

The watermarking process for Videohive can be a little confusing, so hopefully this thread will shed some light on the process and clear up any confusion.

NEW UPLOADS

Categories that DO REQUIRE preview videos to contain the Envato Watermark:

  • Stock Footage
  • Motion Graphics

Categories that DO NOT REQUIRE* preview video watermarks are:

  • Add-Ons/Plugins
  • After Effects
  • Premiere Pro/MOGRT
  • Apple Motion
  • Cinema4D

(*we will make an exception for watermark inclusion if your preview video contains finished examples of elements or animations that could potentially be stolen via the preview video download option.)

SUBMITTING STOCK FOOTAGE AND MOTION GRAPHICS VIA LOADING BAY

The Loading Bay submission tool automatically applies the Envato watermark to individual video files only.

When submitting bundled videos inside of a ZIP archive, you need to provide a manually watermarked video file. Loading Bay does not extract video files from ZIP archives to watermark them.

RE-SUBMITTING A SOFT-REJECTED FILE / UPDATING A PREVIOUSLY APPROVED ITEM

If your item was soft-rejected for any reason that requires the preview video to be updated, you will need to manually re-apply the Envato watermark. Re-submitting soft-rejected items uses the FTP process and does not pass through the Loading Bay tool.

Similarly, if you need to update the preview video for any previously approved item, you will need to manually re-apply the Envato watermark.
