Extransport when purchased looks nothing like the beautiful demo. The claimed detailed documentation cannot be found. There is no link I can find to contact the promised author direct support. The only support is via comments but the record shows they have only ever replied once. I cannot load the demo content. The searchable database appears to contain only 4 items. Plugins do not load. Even getting my money back would not compensate for the lost time, selling this kind of product really hurts Envato’s reputation.
no WordPress theme will look like the demo until you apply your own or demo content (bear in mind very few themes include the demo images).

I will appreciate any help, but:
I understand, I’ve used many themes, but the demo has a home page with a layered slider at the top, the theme home page is a blog post with no slider: it just doesn’t relate. The demo has well styled follow on pages, the theme installs with no follow on pages. To build something like the demo from the provided files I may as well start from scratch. This theme does actually provide demo content it just doesn’t load.
On the page you cite, https://themeforest.net/item/extransport-freight-logistics-wordpress-theme/20328994/support, as far as I can see after several sessions of looking there is no link that contacts or gives information on contacting the author or connects to gives information about any support function. It says support, if does not connect to support. Where do I link to a page that I enter a query or raise a ticket or email the author?
I have downloaded the theme with all documentation three times and opened every folder: where is the documentation?
The forum http://kopatheme.com/forum/ which I found by Googling requires login with a code that is not the purchase code so I cannot access it. The blog available from the same screen does however offer the same theme at dramatically lower price than Envato, in fact you can buy all their themes for less tha I paid Envato for one, and with free demo setup service. The searchable database at https://kopasoft.zendesk.com/hc/en-us?return_to=%2Fhc%2Fen-us%2Frequests never finds anything, if you search the word “and”it has four entries. Tis space does however allow raising a ticket, which can’t be done from Envato.
Sorry I don’t mean to be overly critical, but I have paid more than I needed for a product that doesn’t work, has no documentation and isn’t supported.

You left a comment only a short while ago, so give them some time. And your argument that they’ve only commented once is invalid; only one other comment was an actual inquiry, so I would expect to only see one comment from the author.

- This is indeed the correct place to contact the author. Envato has no official support system. It’s either via email, comments, or the author’s own support site.
When i clicked on ‘go to item support’ there’s a ‘submit a request’ button right at the bottom where you enter your name, email, theme details etc, and it says a member of our support team will get back to you as soon as possible.
