ouch, I even spent few hours recording the requested additional video tutorial. It is more painful. Really disappointed. I hope I can quickly move on after this.

I saw some posts from other authors with the same situation recently…
I do the same thing this Christmas with an article, first they approved it with soft rejection, I made all the changes they requested, and then they rejected it without giving explanations
Keep in mind that a soft-rejection is not an approval or pre-approval in any way shape or form. They’re normally yes/no issues that need to be addressed before the item can be reviewed… so has a help file been included? Is the file in the correct format? Is there a watermark on the preview video if required? etc etc. Sure, the ‘you’re nearly there’ wording doesn’t help, as it gives the impression that you just need to fix the reason for the soft reject, and then it will get approved, but that’s not the case.
If this is the first time you’ve experienced this in six years, then I can only assume that this is the first time you’ve not included a help file, or it;s the first time you’ve submitted an item that requires a help file?
