I purchased [Alyeska Responsive WordPress Theme] in February 12, 2018 and have used it for the past six years. Unfortunately, no support is available for this WP theme any longer. It looks as though Jason Bobich, the creator, has dropped from the face of the earth so I can no longer reach out to him.
I am looking to update to a new theme and need some advice as to what would be the best WP theme to purchase. Can someone help me along with that?

Your response is too general and not helpful. I am looking for the best template to use for a Government (Municipal) website such as https://newsharoniowa.com and one that could double for a personal biographical website such as https://rlmjourney.org. I need guidance in the selection so that I don’t purchase something that will not fit my needs. There are scores of options but I do not have the background/expertise to know what the best fit would be for my purposes.
Don’t get me wrong but to find the perfect theme for the project is also a job description that you’d need to do it by yourself. If you have questions regarding to the theme you’re checking, you can ask the author.
As there’re too many items here, I have doubt anyone could/would point you the “one” item that you need to purchase
