Is there a way to have upload defaults for all music items’ descriptions?
putting all banners, links and thumbnails for other music?

Oh, it is possible. With the already mentioned chrome extension from Schwartzsound.
There is an option to save the different prices for the license categories as a default for every new item. Have testet it by myself, works pretty good.
